We are told that in the beginning, God planted a garden eastward in Eden, and it is there that he put the man whom he had formed. Now instead of the beginning, imagine the present, and instead of a garden, imagine a supermarket. Drawing as much inspiration from Buster Keaton as the Bible, "Adam" plants its title character alone in the frozen foods aisle and leaves him to make sense the modern garden he's been given. Directed by Chris Ladd, featuring Adam Lerman and Melissa Baroni.
